Somehow or another, in the pushing for gank punishment thread, the advocate for higher punishment twisted his own argument around to suggest that miners are at fault for isk inflation in relation to PLEX prices. If you are reading here and (someho...

Might I suggest a little less of the aforementioned "3rd grade econ" and a bit more of 101 level philosophy. http://www.logicalfallacies.info Also please note the use of the fallacy in the suggesting that 3rd graders learn Economics specifically.

85. We are Legion.....unless you want to go somewere. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Well, one solution I have heard is to use cov-cyno T3 for locating the sites and then droping sins for completing them. Then everyone jumps back home together.

86. Harder punishment for High-Sec carebears - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Well the main reason hisec lights up is a reflection of population density. Do the same glance using the gate activation. You'll see an obvious correlation. As the population thins out there is substantially less chance of fights taking place.

87. Suggestion - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
The stretch goal for SC to have a bonus room is pretty far out. Let alone real risk of loss or player risk. You are likely better off writing hope in one hand and excrement in the other, to see which fills up faster ;) you know, for science.

A fundamentally sound question. And one I assume has to do with the usual "legacy code" problems. But I also assume/hope the as the storage in space comes closer to a reality that more secure and controlled pos storage is tested and applied. Othe...

I wouldn't object at all to hisec having all the most profitable avenues around if the denizens didn't then screetch to the top of their lungs at any spot of adversity or interruption by another player. Hisec is safer that it was when I started w...

I've been thinking along these lines in light of the recent spate of "protect me CCP" threads. I think an interesting solution might be to penalize both parties in any altercations. Assumptions: Concord pays part of its budget by the administrati...

In light of the responses Mr Veers, and giving you the benefit of any doubt about being deliberately obtuse, the only logical suggestion would be that you should in fact be playing in NPC nul. 1) The risk reward (especially for mordus legion) is ...

94. pushing for harder punishment on hi sec gankers - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
So what we are really seeing is that you think an expesive ship should only be at risk to an equally expensive one. It isn't about ganking at all but about how dare the game allow game play where the wealthy can be harmed by those beneath their st...

Honestly, by your own logic, if gank pilots are so "risk adverse" then one moa per system would make them as unwilling to engage as you seem to be. Since you agree that is nonsense perhaps the term "aversion" isn't the one you are actually looking...

Just put a moratorium on activation of any high slot module. Heck don't even have to do any special code or mechanic changes. Tie all highslot modules to the safety system. If you turn one on, be it a miner, gun, or link then you go suspect. Probl...

I don't know, given the rise of the interceptor meta it might be worth considering a role for a boosted destroyer group focused with catching, holding, and destroying them. Bonus to scan resolution for fast locking and disruptor range. MWD speed b...
